At age 2, Cattlewash won a $80,950 Bluegrass division in a freshman best of p,2, 1:50.3 and was a multiple PASS winner. He finished second in the Matron Final and third in the Breeders Crown and In Governor’s Cup finals while competing against the best of the year.

At age 3, Cattlewash set a World Record when he won a division of the Bluegrass Stakes at The Red Mile in 1:46.4 at age 3. At that time, he shared this incredible honor with his sire, SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE. Cattlewash also won the $179,600 Matron in 1:48,3, the $160,000 Mon Circle in 1:48.3s and captured his Breeders Crown elimination in 1:47.2. In the $500,000 Breeders Crown Final he finished third off only one-quarter of a length. Cattlewash also finished second in the Little Brown Jug - timed in 1:49.2h, from the 7 hole.

At age 4, Cattlewash won the $250,000 Graduate Series in a season’s best of 1:47.1 and the $265,400 William Haughton Memorial in 1:47.3. He also finished second off a neck in the $600,000 Breeders Crown Final.
